Job Summary
Clinical Psychologist needed to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA disability benefits process. Responsibilities include conducting in-person disability assessments, reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal, and accurately documenting exam findings and completing VA forms. Note that the role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication; disability determinations are made by the VA. Schedule is full-time with in-person Monday and Tuesday and telehealth Wednesday through Friday (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM). Caseload is approximately 4 Veterans per day. Location is in-person in Salisbury/Princess Anne, MD. Equipment and tools for documentation are provided. Requirements include a Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA-accredited program and an active, unrestricted psychology license. Candidates should be proficient with electronic documentation and web-based portals and demonstrate compassionate, professional interaction with Veterans. Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA Accredited program
- active & unrestricted Psychology license
- ability to review electronic records and complete documentation
- strong analytical and time-management skills
- in-person disability assessment experience preferred
- comfort with telehealth and web portals
