Job Summary
Licensed Psychologist with a Ph.D. or Psy.D to perform Disability Assessments for U.S. Veterans. Review behavioral health records electronically, conduct comprehensive in-person assessments, and complete Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs) via a secure Web Portal. The role does not involve disability determinations, treatment, or prescribing medications. The psychologist will assess approximately 4 Veterans per day, on a part-time schedule (2 days/week) in-person. Requires APA-accredited degree, active unrestricted psychology license, and VA credentialing. Malpractice and health insurance benefits provided.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Psychologist with an active and unrestricted Psychology license
- Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA-accredited program/school
- Meets credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
- Ability to perform Disability Assessments and review medical records electronically
- Complete Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs) through a secure Web Portal
- In-person assessments of Veterans (4 per day)
- Role does not include treatment or prescribing medications
