Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder and related neurodevelopmental differences by administering standardized psychological, developmental, cognitive, adaptive behavior, executive functioning, and social-emotional assessments. Complete autism-specific assessment measures, diagnostic interviews, and clinical observations to develop individualized recommendations and treatment plans. Prepare clear, comprehensive psychological evaluation reports and present findings to families, schools, medical providers, and stakeholders. Attend Planning and Placement Team meetings and collaborate with the interdisciplinary clinical team. Required Qualifications
- Licensed or license-eligible psychologist in Connecticut
- Experience conducting psychological and diagnostic evaluations for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental differences
- Strong clinical interviewing, report-writing, and communication skills
- Commitment to evidence-based assessment and collaborative care
- Completion of a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited or equivalent program
- Eligibility to begin postdoctoral supervised practice in Connecticut
- Training and experience in psychological assessment, developmental assessment, and/or autism evaluation
- Interest in developing specialization in autism and neurodevelopmental diagnostics
