Job Summary
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans by reviewing behavioral health records through a secure web portal and accurately documenting exam findings on required VA forms. Perform comprehensive evaluations with a caseload of four veterans daily, focusing solely on disability determinations without providing treatment or prescribing medication. This part-time role offers a predictable 8am-4pm schedule with no on-call duties, utilizing provided equipment for electronic documentation.
Required Qualifications
- A compassionate Psychologist dedicated to supporting the Veteran community
- Strong analytical skills to review medical records and assessment data
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient in electronic documentation and web-based portals
- A professional and empathetic demeanor when interacting with Veterans
- Has a Ph.D. or Psy.D and has graduated from an APA Accredited program/school
- Holds an active & unrestricted Psychology license
