Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, and treat residents in skilled nursing facilities with a focus on serious mental illness, cognitive decline, and medical complexity. Complete documentation aligned with medical necessity and Medicare standards, offering consultation and in-services to support staff under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
- Licensed in California
- Medicare-eligible
- Value evidence-based practice and clinical flexibility
- Comfortable working with complexity and ambiguity
- Want autonomy without isolation, and support without micromanagement
- Curiosity, compassion, and the ability to see the person behind the chart
