Job Summary
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations of children and adolescents, then develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care, monitor patient progress, and adjust interventions as necessary. Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and coping strategies while providing crisis intervention during emergencies. Offer consultation services to schools and community organizations and supervise psychology interns. Complete mandatory department requirements and adhere to infection control standards. Requires a PhD or PsyD, Alabama licensure, and experience in pediatric settings.
Required Qualifications
- PhD or PsyD in Psychology from an accredited institution
- Licensed Psychologist in the State of Alabama
- Experience as a psychologist in a pediatric setting Preferred
- Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements
