Job Summary
Perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans, review electronic medical records via a secure Web Portal, and accurately document exam findings and complete the required VA forms. This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication. Part-time schedule: 2 days per week (Thursday & Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM), in-person with a caseload of about 4 Veterans per day. Equipment and tools for documentation provided. Requires a Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA-accredited program and an active, unrestricted psychology license. Proficiency with electronic documentation and web-based portals, strong analytical and time-management skills, and a compassionate, professional demeanor when interacting with Veterans. Training and ongoing support provided; benefits include health insurance and malpractice coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA-accredited program
- Active and unrestricted psychology license
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
