Job Summary
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans by reviewing behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and performing comprehensive evaluations. Accurately document exam findings and complete required VA forms while maintaining a compassionate demeanor during interactions. This part-time role involves a caseload of four Veterans per day, four days per week, with no on-call duties or treatment responsibilities. The position offers a predictable 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM schedule in Orangeburg, SC, for psychologists with a Ph.D. or Psy.D. and an active license.
Required Qualifications
- A compassionate Psychologist dedicated to supporting the Veteran community
- Strong analytical skills to review medical records and assessment data
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient in electronic documentation and web-based portals
- A professional and empathetic demeanor when interacting with Veterans
- Has a Ph.D. or Psy.D and has graduated from an APA Accredited program/school
- Holds an active & unrestricted Psychology license
