Job Summary
Diagnose psychological disorders, conduct diagnostic interviews, and provide evidence-based psychotherapy using modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. Perform initial psychological assessments, including testing and evaluations, while formulating personalized intervention plans and measuring treatment effectiveness. Maintain complete clinical documentation for all services rendered to meet administrative audit requirements and ethical standards. Deliver family support and crisis management services as needed within this multi-disciplinary outpatient practice in Falls Church.
Required Qualifications
- PhD or PsyD from an APA-accredited Counseling or Psychology program
- Licensed to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in Virginia or other states, or near completion of license
- Experienced with online consultation and psychological assessment and treatment of a wide range of mental health problems
- Proficient with planning and performing psychological therapies, risk assessment & training
- Ability to maintain and complete clinical documentation consistently and adhere to the statement of ethics and code of conduct as outlined by the service provider
