Job Summary
Assess needs and coordinate services for children, adolescents, adults, and families through individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic interventions. Deliver initial mental health assessments, measurement-based care planning, and psychological/neuropsychological testing. Provide brief, solution-focused therapy and group psychoeducation while maintaining daily appointments in electronic records. Participate in care coordination, the high-risk program, and supervising trainees per ABA compliance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and external partners. Complete biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning documentation in a timely manner. Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to the LGBTQ+ community.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
