Job Summary
Conduct direct therapeutic services including individual, couple, family, and group sessions for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Perform initial mental health assessments, psychological/neuropsychological testing, and discharge planning while coordinating care with multidisciplinary team members and external partners. Deliver brief, solution-focused therapy and group psychoeducation related to specific diagnoses, maintaining daily appointments in electronic records and completing biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans. Participate in high-risk programs and supervise psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance. Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to patients, including the LGBTQ+ community, while adhering to Connecticut clinical licensing standards.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
