Job Summary
Assess patient needs and coordinate services for children, adolescents, adults, and families through individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic interventions. Conduct initial mental health assessments, neuropsychological testing, and biopsychosocial evaluations to develop measurement-based care plans. Deliver brief, solution-focused therapy and group psychoeducation while maintaining daily appointments in electronic records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies for care coordination, participate in high-risk programs, and supervise psychology trainees under ABA compliance. Demonstrate cultural competency with the LGBTQ+ community and complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
