Job Summary
Provide direct care to patients, including youth, through individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and perform psychological/neuropsychological evaluations. Coordinate services across the multidisciplinary team and participate in high-risk program support. Deliver brief, solution-focused therapy and group psychoeducation while maintaining daily appointments in electronic records. Supervise psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance and demonstrate cultural competency with the LGBTQ+ community. Complete biopsychosocial assessments and documentation in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
- Demonstrates cultural competency and commitment to patients ,including LGBTQ+ community
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
