Job Summary
Assess patient needs and coordinate services for children, adolescents, adults, and families through individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic interventions. Conduct initial mental health assessments, psychological/neuropsychological testing, and discharge planning to establish measurement-based care plans. Deliver brief, solution-focused therapy and group psychoeducation while maintaining daily appointments in electronic records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to manage high-risk programs, complete biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning, and supervise psychology trainees per ABA compliance. Demonstrate cultural competency with the LGBTQ+ community.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
