Job Summary
Conduct individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services including assessments, treatment planning, discharge planning, and psychological testing. Provide brief, solution-focused therapy and group psychoeducation while participating in care coordination with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies. Maintain daily scheduled appointments in electronic records systems and complete required documentation for biopsychosocial assessments and treatment implementation. Supervise psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance and participate in the high-risk program. Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to patients, including the LGBTQ+ community.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
