Clinical Psychologist

Job Summary
Conduct individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services, including assessments, treatment plans, discharge planning, and psychological testing. Provide initial mental health assessments, brief solution-focused therapy, and group psychoeducation for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members and external partners while participating in high-risk programs and supervising psychology trainees. Maintain daily and weekly appointments in electronic records, complete biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning, and demonstrate cultural competency with the LGBTQ+ community. Work part-time (32 hours) with a valid Connecticut clinical license.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
