Job Summary
Conduct individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services, including assessments, treatment planning, and psychological testing. Provide initial mental health assessments with measurement-based care planning and brief, solution-focused therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Deliver group psychoeducation and neuropsychological testing to patients referred. Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members and external partners while participating in our high-risk program. Supervise psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance standards. Maintain daily and weekly appointments in electronic records systems and complete required documentation, including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning. Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to patients, including the LGBTQ+ community.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
