Job Summary
Conduct direct therapeutic services including individual, couple, family, and group sessions for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Perform initial mental health assessments, neuropsychological testing, and biopsychosocial evaluations to develop measurement-based care plans. Coordinate services with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies while maintaining scheduled appointments in electronic records. Participate in high-risk programs and supervise psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance. Deliver brief, solution-focused therapy and psychoeducation related to specific diagnoses. Ensure all documentation, including treatment planning and implementation, is completed timely. Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to patients, including the LGBTQ+ community.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
