Job Summary
Conduct individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services including assessments, treatment planning, and psychological testing for patients and families. Deliver brief, solution-focused therapy and neuropsychological evaluations while coordinating care across multidisciplinary teams and external agencies. Maintain daily appointments in electronic records, complete biopsychosocial assessments and documentation, and participate in high-risk programs and trainee supervision. Work collaboratively with partners to ensure culturally competent care for diverse populations, including the LGBTQ+ community.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
