Job Summary
Conduct individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services, including assessments, treatment planning, discharge planning, and psychological testing. Provide initial mental health assessments with measurement-based care planning, brief solution-focused therapy, and group psychoeducation for specific diagnoses. Coordinate services across children, adolescents, adults, and families while collaborating with multidisciplinary team members and external partners. Maintain daily and weekly appointments in electronic records, complete biopsychosocial assessments and treatment documentation, and supervise psychology trainees per ABA compliance. Participate in our high-risk program and demonstrate cultural competency with the LGBTQ+ community.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
