Job Summary
Conduct individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services including assessments, treatment planning, discharge planning, and psychological testing. Provide initial mental health assessments resulting in measurement-based care plans and deliver brief, solution-focused therapy. Coordinate services for children, adolescents, adults, and families while maintaining daily appointments in electronic records. Participate in high-risk programs and supervise psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members and external partners to ensure comprehensive care. Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to patients, including the LGBTQ+ community, while completing required biopsychosocial assessments and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
