Job Summary
Conduct individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services including assessments, treatment planning, discharge planning, and psychological testing. Provide initial mental health assessments, brief solution-focused therapy, and group psychoeducation for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members and external partners while completing biopsychosocial assessments and documentation in electronic records. Participate in high-risk programs and supervise psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance standards. Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to the LGBTQ+ community.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
