Job Summary

Conduct direct care through individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services, including assessments, treatment planning, discharge coordination, and psychological testing. Deliver brief, solution-focused therapy and neuropsychological evaluations while maintaining daily appointments in electronic records. Coordinate services across children, adolescents, adults, and families within a multidisciplinary team, including external partners. Participate in high-risk programs and supervise psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance. Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to patients, including the LGBTQ+ community. Complete required documentation and biopsychosocial assessments in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
  • Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
  • Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
  • Experience providing direct clinical care
  • Demonstrates cultural competency and commitment to patients ,including LGBTQ+ community

Desired Qualifications

  • Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
  • Experience supervising trainees/students
  • Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
  • Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
  • Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
