Job Summary
Conduct individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services, including assessments, treatment planning, and psychological testing for patients across all age groups. Deliver brief, solution-focused therapy and group psychoeducation while coordinating care with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies. Maintain daily appointments in electronic records, complete biopsychosocial assessments and documentation, and supervise psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance. Work within a high-risk program demonstrating cultural competency for the LGBTQ+ community.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
