Job Summary
Assess needs and coordinate services for children, adolescents, adults, and families through individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic interventions. Deliver initial mental health assessments, measurement-based care planning, and psychological/neuropsychological testing. Provide brief, solution-focused therapy and group psychoeducation while maintaining daily appointments in electronic records systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and external partners to ensure comprehensive care coordination. Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and documentation in a timely manner. Participate in high-risk programs and supervise psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
