Job Summary
Conduct individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services for patients, including youth, while administering psychological/neuropsychological testing and assessments. Coordinate care across a multidisciplinary team by developing measurement-based care plans, discharge planning, and biopsychosocial assessments. Deliver brief, solution-focused therapy and psychoeducation for specific diagnoses, ensuring cultural competency with the LGBTQ+ community. Maintain daily appointments in electronic records, complete required documentation, and supervise psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance. Participate in the high-risk program and collaborate with external partners and agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
