Job Summary

Provide direct care including individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services to patients, children, adolescents, adults, and families. Conduct initial mental health assessments resulting in measurement-based care planning and psychological/neuropsychological testing. Deliver brief, solution-focused therapy and group psychoeducation related to specific diagnoses or presenting issues. Coordinate services with multidisciplinary team members and external partners while maintaining daily or weekly scheduled appointments in electronic records. Complete required documentation including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning. Participate in the high-risk program and supervise psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance. Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to patients, including the LGBTQ+ community. Work full-time, 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
  • Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
  • Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
  • Experience providing direct clinical care
  • Demonstrates cultural competency and commitment to patients ,including LGBTQ+ community

Desired Qualifications

  • Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
  • Experience supervising trainees/students
  • Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
  • Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
  • Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
