Job Summary
Conduct individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services for patients, including youth, while administering assessments, treatment plans, discharge planning, and psychological testing. Deliver brief, solution-focused therapy and group psychoeducation tailored to specific diagnoses or presenting issues. Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies, maintaining daily appointments in electronic records and completing biopsychosocial assessments and documentation. Participate in the high-risk program and supervise psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance standards. Work within a multidisciplinary team demonstrating cultural competency and commitment to the LGBTQ+ community.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
