Job Summary
Provide direct therapeutic services including individual, couple, family, and group sessions alongside psychological testing and neuropsychological evaluations. Conduct initial mental health assessments to develop measurement-based care plans and coordinate services across children, adolescents, adults, and families. Deliver brief, solution-focused therapy and group psychoeducation while maintaining daily appointments in electronic records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners, participate in high-risk programs, and supervise psychology trainees per ABA compliance. Complete biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning documentation timely. Demonstrate cultural competency with a commitment to the LGBTQ+ community.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
