Clinical Psychologist

Job Summary
Provide direct care through individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services, including assessments, treatment planning, discharge planning, and psychological testing. Conduct initial mental health assessments to drive measurement-based care planning and deliver brief, solution-focused therapy. Manage daily appointments in electronic records systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary team members and external partners on care coordination. Complete required documentation for biopsychosocial assessments and treatment implementation. Participate in supervising psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance and support our high-risk program. Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to patients, including the LGBTQ+ community.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
