Job Summary

Provide direct care through individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services, including assessments, treatment plans, discharge planning, and psychological testing. Conduct initial mental health assessments to establish measurement-based care plans and deliver brief, solution-focused therapy. Coordinate services across children, adolescents, adults, and families while maintaining daily appointments in electronic records. Complete biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning documentation in a timely manner. Supervise psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance and participate in the high-risk program. Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to patients, including the LGBTQ+ community. Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members and external partners. Maintain cultural competency and commitment to patients, including the LGBTQ+ community.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
  • Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
  • Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
  • Experience providing direct clinical care
  • Demonstrates cultural competency and commitment to patients ,including LGBTQ+ community

Desired Qualifications

  • Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
  • Experience supervising trainees/students
  • Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
  • Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
  • Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
