Job Summary
Conduct direct therapeutic services including individual, couple, family, and group sessions for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Perform initial mental health assessments, psychological/neuropsychological testing, and discharge planning to develop measurement-based care plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to coordinate care for diverse populations. Deliver brief, solution-focused therapy and group psychoeducation while maintaining daily appointments in electronic records. Supervise psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance and participate in the high-risk program. Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to the LGBTQ+ community. Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and documentation in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
