Job Summary
Conduct individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services, including assessments, treatment planning, and psychological testing. Provide brief, solution-focused therapy and group psychoeducation for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members and external partners while participating in high-risk programs. Supervise psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance. Maintain daily appointments in electronic records and complete biopsychosocial assessments and documentation in a timely manner. Demonstrate cultural competency with a commitment to the LGBTQ+ community.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
