Job Summary
Conduct individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services for patients, including youth, while administering psychological/neuropsychological testing and assessments. Develop measurement-based care plans, discharge planning, and biopsychosocial assessments to coordinate services across the multidisciplinary team and external agencies. Deliver brief, solution-focused therapy and group psychoeducation, participate in high-risk program support, and supervise psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance. Maintain daily appointments in electronic records and complete required documentation in a timely manner. Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to the LGBTQ+ community.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
