Job Summary
Provide direct care including individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services, assessments, treatment plans, discharge planning, and psychological testing/evaluations. Conduct initial mental health assessments resulting in measurement-based care planning and brief, solution-focused therapy. Deliver group psychoeducation and neuropsychological testing to patients referred. Coordinate services with appropriate populations and maintain daily/weekly scheduled appointments in electronic records systems. Complete required documentation including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning. Participate in care coordination, our high-risk program, and supervising psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance. Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to patients including the LGBTQ+ community.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
