Job Summary
Provide direct care through individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services, including assessments, treatment planning, discharge planning, and psychological testing. Conduct initial mental health assessments to establish measurement-based care plans and deliver brief, solution-focused therapy. Coordinate services across children, adolescents, adults, and families while maintaining daily appointments in electronic records. Participate in care coordination, high-risk programs, and supervising psychology trainees per ABA compliance. Deliver psychological and neuropsychological testing to referred patients and complete biopsychosocial assessments and documentation. Demonstrate cultural competency with the LGBTQ+ community and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies. Full-time 40-hour schedule required.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)
- Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
- Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
- Experience providing direct clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience
- Experience supervising trainees/students
- Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
- Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
