Job Summary
Clinical Psychologist to perform one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exam in Hillsboro, OR. Part-time role; 3 or 4 days/week; compensation paid hourly via bi-weekly pay. Role involves reviewing mental health history and conducting the VA disability compensation exam, capturing responses through a web-based examination form, with completed exams forwarded to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations. Must be licensed psychologist in at least one US state; PhD or PsyD with a focus on adult populations (Clinical/Counseling/School Psychology) from an APA-accredited program; active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Proficiency with computers and EMR; strong professional communication, critical thinking, and informed-care decision-making; ability to work independently and manage time to meet deadlines. Required Qualifications
- Must be a psychologist or psychiatrist licensed in at least one state in the United States
- Psychiatrists or Neurologists must be board certified or must have completed a 2-year residency with either specialty
- Psychologists must obtain a PhD or PsyD with a Major in Psychology; Specialty studies must focus on the adult population such as Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology (or a combination of these)
- Psychologists must have graduated from a doctorate or post-doctorate APA-accredited program
- Certification: Have an active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
