Job Summary
Perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA disability benefits process; review electronic medical records via a secure web portal; accurately document exam findings and complete the required VA forms. Note: role does not involve treatment or prescribing medications. Schedule 3-4 days per week (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM) in Hillsboro, OR with an average caseload of 4 Veterans per day. Equipment and tools provided. Requirements include a Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA-accredited program and an active psychology license. Male practitioners are requested to meet VA privacy and gender-specific protocols. Key skills include analytical review of records and assessment data, time management, electronic documentation, and professional interaction with Veterans. Required Qualifications
- Has a Ph.D. or Psy.D and has graduated from an APA Accredited program/school
- Holds an active & unrestricted Psychology license
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
