Job Summary
The Clinical Psychologist will provide neuro-behavioral health services to residents in long term care facilities, focusing on residents with neurocognitive disorders such as dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, establishing diagnoses, providing cognitive assessments, delivering condition-specific therapy, coordinating care plans with facilities and families, and ensuring holistic care. A passion for working with the elderly and a commitment to enhancing their quality of life are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Active state Psychologist license
- Interest in neurobehavioral science
- Passion for the geriatric population
- Desire to make a difference in a population struggling with neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's and dementia.
Desired Qualifications
- HSPP in applicable states
