Clinical Psychologist

Job Summary
As a Clinical Psychologist, you'll observe and diagnose psychological disorders, selecting and administering tests while formulating treatment plans. You'll provide consultations to fellow mental health professionals and deliver crisis interventions while engaging with the multidisciplinary Behavioral Health Team. The role includes documenting therapy in adherence to EHR policies, developing and evaluating treatment procedures, and maintaining compliance with Michigan guidelines. Required qualifications include a Doctorate in Psychology, relevant licensure in Michigan, and preferably one year of related experience.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Psychology
- Certification/Licensure State of Michigan as a Licensed Psychologist
- At least 1 year of experience preferred directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of and ability to apply relevant current special education methodologies and techniques
- Knowledge of accreditation and certification requirements and standards
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
- Interviewing and psychological/developmental evaluation skills
- Ability to evaluate the progress of therapeutic programs and to make individual modifications
