Clinical Psychologist - Extensive Needs Service

Job Summary
Conduct psychological assessments, formulation, and individualized interventions for children and youth with complex developmental, behavioral, and mental health needs within the Extensive Needs Service. Collaborate with behavior analysts, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop behavior support plans, provide family therapy, and offer consultation to community agencies. Deliver education and training sessions to the interdisciplinary team while contributing to program development and service evaluation for the Neurodevelopmental Feeding service. This role operates as a regular 0.8 FTE (30 hours/week) position, with flexible scheduling options for availability. The psychologist will contribute to the academic agenda through supervision, teaching, and scholarship, supporting Holland Bloorview's mission to advance pediatric disability care for over 9,000 families annually.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Psychology
- registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO)
- declared competencies in Clinical Psychology with children and adolescents
- Knowledge and experience in providing assessment, treatment, and diagnosis services for children with complex behavioural and emotional difficulties, and their families
- Knowledge and experience in providing intervention to children and parents in the management of social-emotional and behavioural difficulties
- Experience with adapting interventions to the complex needs of children with neurodevelopmental disabilities
- Knowledge and experience of trauma-informed interventions
- Strong clinical formulation skills
- ability to organize time, meet deadlines, take initiative and manage fluctuating clinical responsibilities
