Job Summary
Clinical Psychologist to provide comprehensive behavioral health services at a Military Treatment Facility in Yokosuka, Japan. Responsibilities include comprehensive psychological evaluations, DSM-based diagnoses, development of individualized evidence-based treatment plans, delivering individual/group/family/crisis interventions, and psychotherapy for anxiety, depression, trauma-related and other psychological concerns. Engage in collaboration with physicians, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals; maintain accurate documentation in EMR; participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and quality improvement; ensure adherence to ethical and DHA credentialing standards; support health promotion, prevention, and resiliency programs for military personnel and families.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
- Graduate from an American Psychological Association (APA)-accredited college or university
- Successful completion of an APA-accredited psychology internship
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice psychology in a U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
