Job Summary
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans by reviewing behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and performing comprehensive evaluations. Accurately document exam findings and complete required VA forms while maintaining a professional demeanor during interactions. This structured, full-time role involves a caseload of four Veterans per day with a predictable schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and no on-call duties. The position focuses exclusively on disability determinations made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, excluding treatment or prescribing medication. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or Psy.D. and an active, unrestricted Psychology license.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Psy.D
- Graduated from an APA Accredited program/school
- Active & unrestricted Psychology license
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
