Job Summary
Develop and implement individual treatment plans, ensuring goals are measurable and monitoring milieu programming to support client progress. Coordinate clinical rounds, team meetings, and leadership meetings while supervising all program staff and overseeing environmental safety and facility maintenance. Manage client documentation, including monthly reports, discharge summaries, and incident records, and facilitate the referral and intake process for new placements. Provide clinical training for staff, conduct on-call crisis interventions, and maintain professional relationships with referral sources and family members. Ensure all client rights and needs are met in alignment with licensing standards and agency policies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling
- Valid Ohio Social Work or Professional Counselor license (LSW or LPC)
- 3-5 years' experience in clinical diagnosis and assessment
- 3-5 years' experience in mental health field
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and their families
- Possess skill, knowledge and abilities to perform the essential duties of their role
- Demonstrate ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment
- Demonstrate awareness, sensitivity and skills in working professionally with diverse individuals, groups and communities who represent various cultural and personal background and characteristics
- Communicate clearly using verbal, nonverbal, and written skills in a professional context
- Adhere to professional values such as honesty, personal responsibility, and accountability
- Function effectively as a member of a professional team that includes employees, clients and family members
- Recognize problems and responds appropriately; gathers information and sorts through it to identify and address root cause issues; makes timely decisions
- Demonstrate competence in utilizing Agency computer systems and software as required to perform essential job functions
- Strong clinical skills including expertise in systemic family therapy, crisis intervention, family education, behavioral interventions and substance abuse therapy
