Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day center operations, staff management, financial management, quality improvement, and clinical functions for the assigned Wound Care Center. Manage direct reports through interviewing, hiring, coaching, and performance reviews while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and accrediting regulations. Coordinate the revenue cycle, track ancillary revenues, and implement best practices to improve clinic flows and outcomes. Develop strategic marketing plans, visit physician practices, and build relationships with hospital leadership to increase patient referrals. Implement continuous performance improvement programs, monitor patient satisfaction, and serve as a case manager or documentation assistant as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to be maintained throughout the duration of employment in this position
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field
- 1 year of marketing/community education in the healthcare industry or clinical operations experience
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field
- 2 or more years of marketing/community education in the healthcare industry or clinical operations experience
- 4 years or more years of marketing/community education in the healthcare industry or clinical operations experience
- Demonstrated competency in BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory/accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, to include group presentation skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong customer service and follow-up skills
- Strong organization, time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
