Job Summary
This role coordinates procurement, inventory, and supply activities for the Clinical Procedure area, ensuring timely acquisition of non-capital materials and services, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, managing recalls and consignment items, coordinating with clinical departments for special deliveries, evaluating new products, and supporting cost containment and standardization efforts. Responsibilities include ordering and tracking supplies using MMIS, interfacing with vendors, and supporting procedural area staff with supply needs and after-hours inquiries.
Required Qualifications
- Requires an associate in business or procurement, or equivalent experience and training
- 2 years of experience in a Healthcare Clinical area (Surgery, Cathlab, IR Lab, Endoscopy), materials management, or related area
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of surgical supplies and equipment
- Proficiency with commonly used office software and ability to learn new software
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (for Banner Behavioral Health Hospital) and related background requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)
- Knowledge and application of medical terminology strongly preferred
- Supply Management within a Clinical procedural area preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Additional related education and/or experience preferred
