Clinical Practice and Policy Specialist (RN)

Job Summary
Lead the development, revision, and implementation of clinical practice policies and standards across the organization. Coordinate policy workflows, stakeholder feedback, and approvals within the policy management system to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and evidence-based practice. Partner with nursing leaders, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to translate system-wide policies into unit-level workflows and support survey readiness activities. Conduct structured clinical rounds to assess adherence to standards, provide real-time coaching to frontline staff, and analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Identify care delivery variations and recommend standardization initiatives to enhance patient safety and clinical outcomes. Collaborate with Clinical Excellence teams to evaluate nursing-sensitive indicators and share best practices through education and mentoring.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Masters's degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Minimum of three to five years of progressive clinical nursing experience
- Experience in clinical policy development, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, or nursing leadership
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and nursing professional practice
- Excellent communication, collaboration, project management, and analytical skills
