Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day operations of a therapy team or discipline by supervising therapist assistants and technicians, managing staffing, scheduling, and orientation to ensure adequate patient treatment coverage. Deliver licensed discipline evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment while maintaining open communication with hospital departments to meet patient and staff needs. Delegate tasks, assist with training, and hold staff accountable for performance to foster an environment that drives continuous improvement. Provide patient care in licensed disciplines during 80% to 90% of work hours and mentor staff to enhance clinical skills and overall performance.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited therapy program
- Minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience
