Job Summary
Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in day-to-day operations of a therapy team, delegating and supervising tasks for therapist assistants and technicians. Manage staffing, scheduling, orientation, training, and communications to ensure adequate patient treatment coverage while maintaining open dialogue with hospital departments. Provide licensed discipline patient care for 80% to 90% of work hours and hold staff accountable for performance. Create an environment that enables the hospital to meet its goals by conveying the mission, motivating staff, and driving continuous improvement through clinical skill development and mentoring.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited therapy program
- Minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience
