Job Summary
Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in day-to-day operations of a therapy team or discipline, delegating and supervising tasks for therapist assistants and technicians. Provide adequate coverage for patient treatments by managing staffing, scheduling, orientation, and training while maintaining open communication with hospital departments. Deliver licensed discipline evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment in 80% to 90% of work hours. Create an environment that enables the hospital to meet its goals by holding staff accountable, motivating performance improvement, and fostering clinical skill development through mentoring. Ensure continuous improvement in department operations through measurement and assessment.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited therapy program
- Minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience
